Pomme Cake

A very moist Apple cake- which I can promise will please all:

Ingredients:

Plain flour 210g

Caster sugar 150g

Baking powder 1tsp

Bicarbonate soda 1tsp

3 grated large cooking apples

Butter 170g

Almonds 50g

2 eggs

Method:

Mix the flour, sugar, bicarbonate & baking powder together. Add in the grated apples. In a separate bowl mix the eggs and butter - once mixed add all the ingredients together! Baking at 180 degrees for 30/35 minutes.

For the topping- in a pan cook 1 large eating apple with brown sugar and butter to create a rich Carmel sauce.
